What it is

A bare keyboard board, not a finished gadget.

85 × 48 mm, 69 keys in an orthogonal layout. The silicone keypad sits on a snap-dome sheet, so it stays tactile and comfortable even for long thumb-typing sessions.

It speaks standard USB HID, so once wired up it works with desktops (Windows / Linux / macOS), phones (iOS / Android) and SBCs like the Raspberry Pi — no drivers.

Built to be hacked

You finish it the way your build needs.

Solder your connection The connector isn't populated out of the box — solder on the USB-C or the header your build calls for. This is a maker board, soldering expected.
Optional backlight Unpopulated footprints for LED backlight circuitry. Add the parts and light it up yourself.
I²C + Qwiic Qwiic connector footprint and I²C test points, compatible with earlier BBQ10 / BBQ20 boards.
3D-printable frame A free printable frame gives it a rounded shape and a starting point for your own enclosure designs.
